This blog documents my two visits to Egypt in early 2013. The first in January was to spend time with my wife, Arda Ishkhanian, who was in Heliopolis, Cairo settling the affairs of her recently deceased parents. The second trip in February was undertaken under very different circumstances. Egyptian dispatches: March 18, 2013
We've got Arda all ready for her final trip to the west coast. We get to the airport and the first flight is cancelled because of the snow, and then the replacement is cancelled. We stay the night at home with an early rise in the morning.
